We have a job opening and an exciting opportunity for a full-time EHS Coordinator in any Concordance location. The individual's primary role will be to develop, implement, train, and monitor all aspects of EHS and compliance for the organization. This position will be responsible for assisting the Director, Safety & Compliance, with the continued development, execution, and administration of effective workplace EHS programs and ensuring operations regulatory compliance with governing agencies such as DOT, EPA, FMCSA, DEA, FAA, FDA, and OSHA.

Essential Functions:

The EHS Coordinator will work directly for the Director of Safety & Compliance to manage the overall EHS compliance of personnel and operations throughout the organization. This position requires knowledge of federal, state, and local transportation, safety, and employment laws. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling multiple projects within the organization.



  • Implement company EHS training programs for facilities. Arrange, coordinate, and perform EHS training, including but not limited to - new employee orientation, Drug-Free/Substance-Free Workplace Training, and powered industrial trucks (PIT) training programs.
  • Notify Infotrac of any new Hazardous items entered in the HazMat database and send a copy of the SDS and our Hazardous Bill of Lading information.
  • Maintaining all environmental/safety files to maintain 100% regulatory agency compliance, including all SDS and related technical documents.
  • Maintains OSHA PIT training logs to ensure all employees have been properly trained at all facilities.
  • Compile incident reports for each incident/close-calls. Lead root-cause evidence gathering: perform data and evidence collection, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Conduct fire pump testing and weekly inspection of fire suppression systems for each facility; inspect first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and AEDs as needed; and ensure all locations complete inspections on a timely basis.
  • Advises management of significant changes in local, state, and federal regulations and/or industry standards & updates that affect product operation, transportation, and storage.
  • Ensure proper safety and health standards are followed throughout facilities: First Aid, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, Proper Lifting, AED, and Emergency Evacuation Plans.
  • Conducting scheduled and unscheduled work-site and facility inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Providing various safety-related training and awareness programs to appropriate personnel in response to regulatory requirements or to trends in accidents and/or lost time incidents on a scheduled basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Will Need To Be Successful:



  • Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and related work-related skills, knowledge, or experience with specialized certifications.
  • 3 years of related experience required.
  • Skills that include creativity, writing proficiency, organization, and meticulousness.
  • Good public speaker who is at ease presenting to large groups.
  • CET/CHMM a plus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and walk/stand the entire shift.
  • Must work safely, efficiently, and respectfully with other personnel.
  • Extensive knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations, hours of service (HOS) rules, and ELDs.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment (post-offer) background check and drug screening.



Work Location:



  • This role is remote or apart of the hybrid model at any Concordance location.


Compensation: $60,000.00-$65,000.00
