Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Portfolio Relationship Manager position will help manage overall performance and service of a loan portfolio of Verve, Credit Union, and ensure compliance with financial policy. This position will help service specific Verve, a Credit Union loans.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Portfolio Management:



  • Help manage commercial relationships by analyzing financial data to determine the merits of specific loan requests, as well as aggressively managing the member relationship with relation to retention, reviews, renewals, collections/workouts and general member inquiries.
  • Assist with due diligence/analysis of new and existing member relationships and assist with preparing offer sheets and commitment letters.
  • Works closely with the Team to coordinate the documentation, clearing of conditions, closing, booking and timely loan package completion, along with post-closing quality control reviews of the documentation.
  • Partner with the Lender to serve as a point of a contact for the member; acting as a liaison to the internal business partners and staff of BLG and owning CU's.
  • Help Create credit presentations on specific loans and participate in the CU Loan Approval Process, recommending approval and appropriate structure of credits, as needed.
  • Manage the renewal process by working with Lenders, the member and Underwriting staff, and developing/maintaining an appropriate tracking and reporting system to measure compliance with policy requirements.
  • Must comply with all Credit Union policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a commercial loan portfolio or conducting credit analysis related to commercial loans.
  • Preparatory experience may be considered.
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary education program related to finance, business or a related field is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT



  • Work Environment: Business office, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • Travel: Occasional travel required, generally with the State of WI, to meet with Members. May require occasional overnight stays.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand at a desk the majority of the workday; talk or hear; stand or walk occasionally. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is typically utilizing a computer, keyboard and phone. May occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds.
