Position summary: Responsible for performing quality assurance/control inspections of RBIR Mechanical programs in accordance with the technical specifications. Depending on the work areas available, and the number of contracts issued for each work area, inspections may be performed consecutively or sequentially. The construction inspectors shall prepare daily inspection reports (IDR) documenting construction progress, monitor the program compliance with plans, specifications, and other contract provisions, maintain daily logs of inspection work and review discrepancies or changes. Compensation for this position is $91,520.00 - $131,040.00, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Working Conditions Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment. Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
