This is a role within Chamberlain Group's Corporate Communications & Brand function within the Marketing department. The successful incumbent is expected to have strong writing skills, demonstrate strategic thinking, and effective collaboration with strong detail orientation. The role will be responsible for (i) Planning and executing communication campaign tactics related to corporate initiatives, (ii) Creating communications deliverables including written, visual and live meeting content, (iii) Scheduling and coordinating employee engagement events, and (iv) Leveraging reporting and analytics to optimize communication channel effectiveness. Requires 1-3 years of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or other relevant field of study.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and review clear, engaging, and on-brand content for various internal communication channels.

  • Develop copy for employee-facing emails and other communication methods, intranet articles and pages, infographics, video scripts, event materials, and print collateral.

  • Ensure consistency with brand voice, style guidelines, and messaging strategy.

  • Assist in the development and execution of internal communication plans that support employee engagement and organizational goals.

  • Maintain a regular editorial calendar to manage content flow and scheduling.

  • Monitor and analyze key metrics across internal communication channels to evaluate reach, engagement, and effectiveness.

  • Generate regular reports to identify trends, inform future communication strategies, and support continuous improvement.

  • Use data to guide decision-making and recommend optimizations for content, timing, and channel usage.

  • Plan and execute internal events such as employee events, executive roundtables, and other engagement initiatives.

  • Support logistics, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination for employee-facing events and programs.

  • Build and update content for the company intranet, ensuring usability, visual appeal, and relevance.

  • Develop relationships with cross-functional partners and teams to gather information, clarify messaging, and align communication efforts.

  • Translate complex information into clear, accessible content for a variety of internal audiences.

  • Stay current with communication best practices through workshops, professional publications, and networking.

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or other relevant field of study

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent writing skills and copy-editing experience.

  • Solid understanding of project management principles.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software suite, in particular PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams

  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities

  • Proficient in effective use of AI for first-draft creation of written or visual deliverables

  • Minimal travel may be required, less than 10%

Preferred:

  • Work or internship experience in a corporate environment

  • Proficiency using WordPress for website content management, SharePoint for content management, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Event planning experience

  • Familiarity with Canva or similar product for simple graphics creation

  • Experience growing an Instagram or TikTok account

  • Strong time management skills and problem-solving capabilities.

The payrange for this position is $50,700.00 - $81,825.00; base payoffered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
