Minimum Qualifications Summary


Certification & Education



  • Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.
  • Must be able to meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements available under the OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction 8523.01 and Air Force Manual 17-1301.
  • Must be able to complete an in-scope (per current DoD 6-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable, ST5 investigation (to include SBPR, PPR, T5R, or current enrollment in the DoD Continuous Evaluation (CE) / Continuous Vetting (CV) program), adjudicated for SCI eligibility by the DoD Central Adjudication Facility (DoD CAF) without conditions, exceptions, or waivers at the time of performance and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract.
  • Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance



Experience Required



  • Expert knowledge in the implementation and use of joint and Service logistics automated tools and web access portals (e.g., MAVEN, C2IE, LOGCOP, IDE/GTN Convergence (IGC), Electronic Transportation Acquisition (ETA), Integrated Mission Support for Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (ISDDC), RF-ITV Automated Movement and Identification Systems (AMIS), Single Mobility System (SMS), Air Force Tracker, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Standard System (DLA DSS)),
  • Familiarity with commercial carrier websites
  • Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, database) are mandatory
  • Mastery of In-Transit Visibility (ITV) systems
  • knowledge of the Defense Logistics Agency- Distribution Reutilization and Material Office
  • (DLA-DRMO) and Transportation Management Office (TMO) procedures or equivalent
  • Experience in requisition, disposal, transportation, and warehousing equipment and procedures
  • Five years' military experience




Job Objective
Under a five-year contract, the Logistics Automation Analyst will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands. The scope of the requirement includes professional services for MARCENT located aboard MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, which serves as a Component Command to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). Specifically, the Logistics Automation Analyst will support the Logistics Directorate (G-4), within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The G-4 plans and coordinates deployment, sustainment, and redeployment support for Marine Corps forces assigned or attached to CENTCOM. The G-4 works with units and support agencies worldwide to ensure equipment accountability, responsive supply support, distribution efforts and monitors both ground and aviation equipment readiness. The G-4 develops and executes deployment and redeployment strategic movement plans, provides engineering and facilities support, provides operational contract support, coordinates equipment requirements with other service Components and provides adequate basing/life support for deployed Marine Corps forces. The G-4 Supply section maintains the command supply account and oversees the command equipment warehouse as well as ensure theater units receive required supply support.
Responsibilities


  • Integrate logistics data for all classes of supply into Command Common Operating Picture data repositories to enable logisticians decision-making in near real time
  • Provide expert support in the implementation and use of joint and Service logistics automated tools and web access portals (MAVEN, C2IE, LOGCOP, IDE/GTN Convergence (IGC), Electronic Transportation Acquisition (ETA), Integrated Mission Support for Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (ISDDC), RF-ITV Automated Movement and Identification Systems (AMIS), Single Mobility System (SMS), Air Force Tracker, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Standard System (DLA DSS)), and familiarity with commercial carrier websites
  • Assist in ensuring USMC distribution requirements are integrated into global, national and theater logistics automated systems
  • Perform liaison and coordination with HQMC, HQ USCENTCOM, and other military staffs, as required
  • Maintain the ability to travel and work overseas
  • Possess a thorough understanding of Componency as it relates to the inter-relationships between USMARCENT, USCENTCOM, and HQ Marine Corps staffs
  • Execute In-Transit Visibility assessments
  • Perform and administer technical and analytical work concerned with planning, development, execution, and tracking of the Marine Corps primary transportation operations agencies
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and track the movement of equipment and materiel through the distribution pipeline and influencing traffic policies and programs
  • Ensure In-Transit Visibility (ITV) objectives to obtain the most efficient freight transportation services at the most economical cost, as well as real time tracking of the freight, and personal property is adhered to in accordance with policies and regulations
  • Provide in-transit recommendations concerning matters covered by Marine Corps policies and procedures
  • Serve as the Information Technology representative for the MARCENT Logistics Section (G-4)
  • Provide initial capability for basic information technology support services for MARCENT CLASSIFIED and UNCLASSIFIED data services and liaison with the helpdesk for higher level support
  • Support G4 equipment inventory accountability assessments



Education & Certification

Security Clearance

Work Location


  • MARCENT, MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida
  • Travel: Contractor personnel must support the projected travel in support of government requirements to MARCENT AOR and supporting locations, which includes but not limited to the following countries: Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Israel, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Djibouti, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy, and Greece. The ideal candidate will be available for travel on less than 24 hours-notice to support personnel recovery and training for forward deployed forces. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to execute OCONUS travel throughout the Central Command (CENTCOM) AOR.
