Product Support Engineer II

You will be a member of the Technology Hub Services team, and will work with project managers, business teams, Technology Risk, and developers to engineer and streamline processes to collect and validate technology asset data across the enterprise. You will support the creation and maintenance of processes and workflows in ServiceNow to facilitate data capture and processing, integrations, and exception and approvals administration.

What you will do:

  • Be a driving force in data consistency for an enterprise CMDB that integrates multiple technologies, enabling seamless and reliable IT operations
  • Analyze, design, and implement controls for Managing IT asset inventory
  • Research, critically assess, and document processing activities related to obtaining and managing data for the CMDB
  • Guide and own the creation, amendment and/or refinement of their business processes to capture and maintain CMDB and related data.
  • Design, build, administer reports and queries utilizing PowerBI and SQL.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and work with system vendor to remediate application and integration issues
  • Build and maintain documentation, user guides and best practices for downstream audience and team cross-training
  • Oversight of test case creation, management and execution
  • Documentation and review of business requirements for new development items
  • Manage implementation activities such as product releases, and product upgrades
  • Assist in technical problem resolution and application support
  • Participate on cross-functional teams to support business strategy
  • Help prioritize development work and tasks
  • Facilitate communication between development and business
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs), as well as stakeholders across the enterprise, including application teams, development, and risk colleagues.
  • Support the Technology team in auxiliary discussions with SMEs, clarifying goals in data aggregation, exception processing, and improvement objectives.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years prior work experience working in a production support or infrastructure support environment
  • Significant Experience with data management via SQL, Power BI, etc
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident and change management)
  • Demonstrated ability to produce standardized process mapping
  • Results oriented team player with experience building, deploying and managing technology .
  • Proven project management skills
  • Familiarity with data analysis and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load)
  • Understanding of data integrations via APIs and REST endpoints
  • Experience implementing third party systems and working with vendor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
