Global Banking & Markets- Salt Lake City - Associate, Client Onboarding & Configuration- 8637888

Job Duties: Associate, Client Onboarding & Configuration with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cover trading desks for all Latin American markets with respect to client implementation issues, including Know Your Costumer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) (i.e., due diligence for new clients, account opening, and account management). Perform Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks to ensure adherence to all compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations. Respond promptly and knowledgeably to queries from clients, the business, and other internal departments. Perform risk and issue identification and escalation. Identify, define, and enhance process efficiencies which will benefit Client Onboarding. Participate in regular meetings with management, Compliance and Quality Assurance to maintain strong relationships across the board. Participate in ad hoc onboarding projects as required.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, International Business, International Relations, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: working in an operational support role for a Latin America trading or sales desk at a financial services company; working with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Costumer (KYC) regulatory frameworks; conducting due diligence in onboarding new clients; analyzing financial data; communicating with business stakeholders and team members; preparing and presenting reports to senior management; and working on and prioritizing multiple projects with competing deadlines. Fluency in Spanish required.
