Global Banking & Markets (Equity Derivative & Structuring Operations)- Salt Lake City- Associate, Confirmations - 8650835

Job Duties: Associate, Confirmations with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Match trades and monitor for any exceptions in Markitwire booking system to mitigate risk to the Firm. Work with Firm automation projects aimed at improving matching scope and performance. Manage risk related to Corporate Action events. Perform process enhancements to improve the performance of the team. Allocate trades to relevant client accounts to ensure accurate counterparty exposure. Work closely with Sales and Trading Teams to improve booking flows to mitigate risk and eliminate any unnecessary manual intervention. Reconcile Listed Options and Equity OTC trades to ensure firm risk is captured accurately. Monitor and fix unmatched Equity Derivative OTC trades on daily basis to mitigate firm risk. Answer client's questions related to economic and operations queries about Equity Derivative OTC trades providing necessary feedback to clients. Review trade bookings of Equity Derivative OTC trades in the internal Firm system versus the recaps provided by the Client or internal Sales Team.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Political Science, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: performing trade booking reviews; working on confirming Equity Derivative OTC trades; performing reconciliation functions supporting a Sales or Trading desk; and technical workflows and proposing system enhancements to further streamline processes. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with: working with a trade confirmation platform including Markitwire.
