Oversees and manages all activities of the Safety & Health functions across all business units of the organization. This role will develop operational strategies and deployment of safety and health programs, manages and implements programs to ensure internal compliance are meet and to optimize safety practices across company. Ensures all required regulatory reports, program deployment, and other compliance activities are adhered to by Safety & Health team. Manages and direct a national team of Field Safety Managers.

This is a 100% remote work from home opportunity.

Key Job Activities:
  • Develops operational strategy and closely works with operations throughout the regions to identify areas to determine, implement, interpret and apply regulatory requirements set by local, state, federal, and corporate policy related to safety.
  • Provides overall direction to develop, implement, enhance, and audit new and existing policies and procedures to business operations. Evaluates and supports Safety & Healthy training and recommends areas of improvement
  • Ensure creation of consistent reporting of statistics, and notification, in accordance with regulations, insurance reporting and policies.
  • Reviews, monitors, and implements corporate-wide programs down to the region/area levels and assists in deployment of programs.
  • Work with sales team on area related support, inquiries, and training as required.
  • Develops, identify and implement policies for emerging growth for business and ensures proper deployment of regulatory required programs.
  • Assists VP and corporate function in completing high level, complex projects as they relate to the Safety & Health function.
  • Leads all major accidents/injuries investigations and develops lessons learned and other communication to prevent similar occurrences.
  • Partners and collaborates with Engineering to ensure all designs and changes in are compliance with safety regulations.
  • Compensation: Base salary starting at $130K or higher plus bonus and Long Term Incentive
Education:
Required Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent
Experience:
  • 5-7+ years experience in an industrial setting
  • 5+ years in a safety leadership position with multi location management duties
  • Certified Safety Professional a plus
  • Bachelor Degree is preferred
