Summary: Executes and defines standardized analytic plans under the guidance and supervision of senior staff and management for supporting Cancer Programs data analytics. This includes support of AJCC classification methods, predictive and prognostic modeling, statistical learning methods, and employing various machine learning and data science techniques. This position will support the CRP in the development of a risk calculator. Perform SAS and R code validation with a back-end Oracle DB and data quality assurance testing as required for the Cancer Data Base (NCDB) including the Rapid Cancer Reporting System, Warehouse, and NCDB Web Tools (e.g., Survival, Benchmarks). Develops novel reports using R Markdown and Shiny apps. Utilizes Tableau, Power BI, or other visual applications for DB QA. Support the analytics necessary to roll-out NCDB products including the PUF, a real-time adaptation of Benchmarks, CQIP survival reports, and quality measure sensitivity analysis. Administrative tasks as assigned to include development of ad hoc reports, survey questionnaires, and support documentation. This exempt position will report to the Senior Statistician II/Technical Lead in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote. The anticipated salary range for this position is $74,000 - $82,000 (commensurate with related experience). Required Education and/or Experience:
