Job Summary
- The Stock Plan Consultant will manage the Company's Employee Stock Purchase Plan along with the equity incentive program, including administering stock plans, processing grants, award terminations, equity vesting, and adjustments. This Consultant ensures compliance with regulations and Company policies, while managing data exchanges between the Company and the external record keeper, preparing reports, and providing analyses. The position involves collaboration with the Total Rewards team, HR, Legal, Payroll and Treasury, and they'll have exposure to Senior Leadership. The Stock Plan Consultant will support plan participants by providing timely information and overseeing all aspects of equity compensation administration.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the company's equity compensation program and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan
- Maintains Plan's data integrity and periodically validates the accuracy of database information, employee indicative data, retirement eligibility dates, tax withholding rates, etc
- Prepare recurring and custom reports to support financial statement disclosures for SEC filings, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, and proxy statements, as well as any other ad-hoc reports
- Support the development of materials for presentation to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, CEO, and senior leaders, including presentations related to equity plan design, plan outcomes and stock recommendations
- Partner with Payroll, Legal, Finance, and HR teams to design and develop equity communications, ensure on-going awareness and compliance with federal/state regulations and securities laws
- Process and monitor equity award activity, including grants and grant agreements, vesting of shares, annual FICA tax assessments, and employee terminations
- Regularly conduct audits, analysis, and reconciliations, working with large data sets, data edits and complex calculations to ensure accurate accounting for Plan reserves
- Partner with Finance to forecast and budget equity compensation; provide equity-related reporting to support monthly financial close process and journal entries
- Implement best practices with effective SOX controls; maintain and manage equity- related SOX controls
- Evaluate changes in federal and state regulations and securities laws; determine impacts to existing processes and programs, and implement changes to ensure on-going compliance and efficient processes
- Provide excellent customer service to plan participants at all levels and to partners across departments and respond quickly to employee questions in a courteous and satisfactory manner, including training on equity topics
- Manage equity compensation software and systems to track grants, forfeitures and vesting
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of equity compensation concepts, such as RSUs, PSUs, ESPPs, and vesting schedules
- Knowledge of software applications and systems (e.g., Fidelity PSW, Workday LAN, Saas, or similar platforms)
- Knowledge of SEC rules and regulations, as well as tax and accounting principles related to equity compensation
- Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data including turning raw data into meaningful information
- Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
- Ability to uncover the root causes to resolve complex issues and problems and recommend corrective action
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and tools
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Required: Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in stock plan administration
- Preferred: Experience with external record keeping system(s), preferably Fidelity PSW
- Preferred: Workday HCM Systems experience
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive market salary from $105,550 - $117,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
