This program is housed entirely within the Department of Political Science, and Recent Ph.D. Lecturers will teach Political Science courses only. The number of positions and the percentage of time offered will depend upon funding and the number of courses available. The primary purpose of these appointments is to help recent Ph.D.'s with demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching to become more competitive in the increasingly challenging and difficult job market. By gaining additional teaching experience and providing time to work on their scholarship while applying for and before beginning tenure-track jobs, these positions will provide important opportunities for professional development as recent Ph.D.'s transition from graduate school to permanent positions. Eligibility depends on one's dissertation being filed and accepted by Graduate Studies by September 8, 2025. To apply, please upload the following materials by no later than June 12, 2025: a.
