Dr. Xiuli Wang's lab, part of the Therapeutics Research Laboratories program, is seeking a Research Associate II to support cutting-edge CAR T cell therapy research. This fast-paced lab offers hands-on training in advanced techniques and clinical immunotherapy projects. Flexible work hours may be required. As a successful candidate, you will:

* Tissue culture including application of aseptic techniques for media compounding, passaging, maintenance and cryopreservation of cell cultures (e.g., T cell lines)

* Performance of T cell functional assays (e.g., cytotoxicity and cytokine production assays) and ELISAs

* Murine surgical procedures and tissue harvesting/preparation

* Assisting in revising/maintaining lab protocols

* Providing routine lab support and maintenance activities in the spirit of GLP

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field, with 2 years of post-degree research experience, or 1 year with a Master's degree
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy in lab work, and robust record-keeping skills
  • Previous experience with multi-color flow cytometry and CAR T cell production highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with cellular immunology and standard good laboratory practices (GLP) desired
