Description
This position has the potential to become a hybrid position working part-time remote and part-time onsite in downtown Spokane on a weekly basis. We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient I.T. Technical Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects. This role requires hands-on experience with project management tools and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems integration, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and problem-solver who can coordinate across technical teams, manage project workflows, and ensure alignment with business and compliance objectives. Under the supervision of the Manager or Director of IT the Technical Project Coordinator provides direction and manages the development and implementation of assigned projects. Essential Functions Project Coordination & Workflow Management
- Coordinates the design and proper scoping of the assigned projects with the project team members, key stakeholders, and sponsors.
- Develops proper implementation plans, project timelines, and tracking systems for each project.
- Manage project-related artifacts (proposals, scope document, meeting minutes, etc.) by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
- Coordinate and track highly technical IT projects including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and security implementations.
- Manage project boards, sprint planning, and issue tracking using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Ensures that the project is proceeding according to established timelines, budgetary constraints, meeting expectations, and adherence to the project scope.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, timelines, and status reports.
- Ability to work additional hours as required by operational and production work loads.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Technical Support & Oversight
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and cybersecurity teams to ensure technical requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Assist in the deployment and integration of enterprise technologies including virtualization, cloud platforms, and secure networking.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during project execution.
- Develops, implements, and ensures budgeting and budget adherence during the implementation of the project.
- Ensures the goals and objectives are met or exceeded for each project implementation.
- Assists department with resource management responsibilities.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable business insights.
- Is able to identify when issues should be escalated for Stakeholder/Sponsor review.
- Prepare and deliver project updates, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to align deliverables and timelines.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure all projects comply with internal IT governance policies and external regulatory requirements
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and risk assessments.
- Support the implementation of security controls and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT project coordination or management and technical program support.
- Experience in a financial services or regulated industry is preferred but not required.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio and other documentation and project management and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure (servers, networking, cloud services) and cybersecurity principles.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies.

Pay Range Technical Project Coordinator: $73,040 - $109,361 The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
