The Diversity and Inclusion Professional, under general supervision, manages programs and initiatives with a primary focus on the operations of Employee Resource Groups (ERG), to support an inclusive workplace culture. The role works closely with employees, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure that programming and initiatives are planned thoughtfully and in compliance with all regulations and company policies and practices. They work to enhance inclusive practices across all levels of the organization, promoting diversity and inclusion, and help create a more equitable and supportive work environment.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Manages diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs with primary responsibility to manage the portfolio of ERGs in support of creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensures effective operations of multiple employee resource groups (ERGs) which may involve providing resources, coaching, and guidance for ERG leaders, as well as consulting with members on events and programming initiatives.
  • Evaluates and maintains a consolidated view of the annual plans of the ERG's, identifies opportunities for collaboration, and encourages partnership across ERG's where plans are aligned.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across the human resources department and beyond to ensure that programming is compliant with corporate policies, following practices (such as those related to communication or procurement), and representing the company in alignment with our employment brand both internally and externally.
  • Implements common approaches and consistency to enhance operational effectiveness of Corporate Responsibility programming.
  • Evaluates data and metrics related to employee engagement in Corporate Responsibility programs, shares insights with the team, and contributes ideas to improve results.
  • Provides regular progress updates that are shared with senior leadership and other stakeholders which may involve preparing reports, analyzing data, and presenting findings.
  • Promotes an inclusive culture by actively advocating for diversity and inclusion, fostering open communication, promoting inclusive behaviors and practices, and serving as a role model for inclusive leadership
  • Represents the organization in external professional organizations, industry groups, partnerships, or community initiatives, to promote the organization's commitment to diversity and inclusion externally and build relationships with external stakeholders.



Job Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Social Impact, Community Investment or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field and/or commensurate experience.



Licenses and Certifications:



  • Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) (Preferred)
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) (Preferred)
