Position Summary: The P2 Project (The Pregnancy Prevention Project) at Children's Aid aims to reduce and prevent the incidence of unintended adolescent pregnancy in its priority areas in NYC by providing young people with the holistic tools to meet their greatest potentials through evidence-based sexuality education, comprehensive reproductive health services, and peer health education. The main objectives of the program are:
Under the supervision of the Director of Family Planning and Pregnancy Prevention Programs, the Health Educator will be responsible for the implementation of comprehensive, sexual health education and outreach activities of the Comprehensive Family Planning Program. The Senior Health Educator will provide in-reach trainings for staff as related and required by the program. The Senior Health Educator will also be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing work of integrating reproductive health justice policies within our community health centers and outreach materials. The Senior Health Educator will work closely with other team members to ensure that health education materials are engaging and age-appropriate. Responsibilities:
