Managing Director, Revenue Cycle
What you will be doing: The Managing Director, Clinical Integrity and Revenue Cycle will assist in building and overseeing the execution of strategies for the sales, relationship management, and delivery processes for Advisory Services. The Managing Director works collaboratively within the Advisory Services Leadership Team to deliver performance improvement to healthcare clients. This position will be primarily responsible for generating sales, managing the service-line, and overseeing teams performing billable work for clients. The role of Managing Director is to provide leadership by driving service-line results, managing client relationships, managing engagement resources, reviewing and approving client deliverables and solutions, overseeing implementation, managing risks and issues, managing project economics, and supporting and leading business development opportunities. This position has oversight for projects of all sizes and durations, which includes accountability for the quality of results, project profitability, and customer satisfaction.The Managing Director delivers consulting services while supervising, mentoring, and developing staff.The Managing Director serves as subject matter expert on projects as needed.This position is expected to lead sales and business development activities including sales calls, RFP responses, orals, statements of work preparation, etc. This position will collaborate with and develop strong client relationships across all levels of the client organization including clinical, physician, and administrative leadership. This position is expected to create and maintain relationships across business lines within Premier/PINC AI for the purposes of developing their service-line. The Managing Director is required to participate and lead in Premier/PINC AI internal activities including service-line leadership, practice development, required and approved educational opportunities throughout the year and learning the various technologies Premier offers to its clients. Maintain Utilization targets for client billable projectsDesign and execute client delivery strategies that capitalize on Premier's data and knowledge assets in providing comprehensive healthcare consulting solutions Drive sales, marketing and relationship management strategies to meet aggressive growth targets Maintain or exceed managed revenue targets Create a team environment by enriching staff skills and knowledge, and create a productive and collaborative environment Create value for the Advisory practice through meaningful participation in practice related activities aimed at growing and enriching the Practice as a whole and their individual Service Lines within the Practice
Key Responsibilities Responsibility #1 - 40% Sales
Partner with clients to develop their strategic vision and adapt to industry changes-actively teams with Advisory Services, PINC AI, and other Premier business partners to coordinate and propose solutions for the client. Manage all administrative sales activities in Premier tools, such as Sales Force, and work with Finance in the accurate prediction of sales activities. Drive business development process, including proposal strategy, pricing, presentation, scoping, billing, and contract management; pull together the appropriate resources to support collaborative sales strategies. Work with existing clients to identify and pursue add-on sales across all Premier business solutions. Collaborates with practice leadership in developing client marketing for service lines. Participates in all required reporting for sales and marketing Actively listen for market opportunities on current engagements and collaborative networks and communicates potential leads to managers. Work with Sales Team to develop sales collateral (e.g., SOWs, orals decks, sales presentation decks). Identifies opportunities to improve profitability.
Responsibility #2 - 35% Client Delivery
Has responsibility for all operational aspects of the client engagement, including executive relationship management, deliverable development against the SOW, quality assurance, and client business reviews.
Overall responsibility for budget and expenses for their assigned projects and manage profitability. Manage staff assigned to their projects including providing mentoring, education for staff, and project evaluations. Responsible for the client readiness of all documents presented to the client. Effectively execute on project plans in accordance with engagement statements of work and to client satisfaction. Participate in risk and issue identification and mitigation along with the project leadership team. Responsible for coordinating all workstream activities with other Premier workstreams and business leads

Required Qualifications Work Experience: Years of Applicable Experience - 12 or more years
Education: Bachelors (Required)
Preferred Qualifications Skills:
Proven ability to sell or to close professional services work Coordinate and deliver effective presentations (verbal and written) to client audiences to communicate project outcomes, recommendations, and strategy Ability to oversee, quality assure analytics and oversee and mentor others in the delivery and production of client deliverables Ability to relate to clients and team members in an effective and collaborative manner Ability to mentor and grow team members within the Practice Ability to lead teams to successful outcomes
Experience:
Led end-to-end revenue cycle transformation initiatives for large healthcare systems, delivering measurable improvements in cash collections, days in A/R, and denial reduction through operational redesign, technology optimization, and performance analytics. Experience leading cross-functional teams Ability to achieve demonstratable outcomes against established goals and/or statement of work Experience in thought leadership and publishing
Education: Master's Degree preferred Additional Job Requirements:

Travel Requirements: Travel 81-100% within the US

Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $195,000 - $361,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
