Mobile Community Services provides free, mobile laundry and shower service for individuals in Denver experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness. We currently have 2 laundry trucks, one shower trailer and two combination shower/laundry trailers in operation; each offers services 5-6 days a week. Applicants should be reliable, compassionate, and have a safety mindset. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee frequently is required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods of time; walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently climb and descend small step ladders, boarding and disembarking vehicles. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Physically able to do laundry and be on your feet for the majority of workday. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Travel: Daily driving to and from locations, mostly with company vehicles. If you must use your own vehicle for company business, mileage costs will be reimbursed at the approved rate.
