Job Summary: The Senior Territory Manager, Small Business National Partners is responsible for accelerating profitable growth through strategic engagement with Westfield's National Partner agencies. This individual serves as a relationship oriented business development leader, working cross-functionally to identify opportunities, align goals, and deliver customized solutions that support long-term mutual success. As a critical member of Westfield's Small Business team, this person brings strong industry expertise, executive-level communication skills, and a forward-thinking mindset to drive results. The role requires initiative, strategic agility, and the ability to influence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This individual will also conduct regular partner meetings and in-person agency visits to build relationships, align strategies, and drive performance. Job Responsibilities:
- Cultivates strong relationships with National Partners to align business objectives, strengthen engagement, and identify joint opportunities for expansion.
- Develops and executes strategic, data-informed business plans to support profitability and growth.
- Partners closely with Westfield's National Sales Center underwriters and digital product owners to align activities with the needs, structure, and goals of National Partners.
- Collaborates with various cross-functional teams (product, marketing, distribution, etc) to deliver solutions that drive results and improve the ease of doing business.
- Monitors partner performance through reporting tools and dashboards, using data to identify improvement areas and drive accountability.
- Conducts visits and business review sessions to assess progress, discuss performance trends, and strengthen partnership collaboration.
- Brings forward market insights and recommendations that shape internal priorities and drive continuous improvement in Westfield's National Partner engagement model.
- Navigates ambiguity and competing priorities while maintaining a strategic focus and advancing key initiatives.
- Represents Westfield at National Partner meetings, business reviews, and industry forums to elevate visibility and reinforce strategic alignment.
- Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) and peer mentor to less experienced Territory Managers and other team members.
Job Qualifications:
- 7+ years of insurance business development experience, with strong emphasis on small business.
- 3+ years of proven success developing and managing complex national partner relationships up to the senior executive level and delivering profitable growth through strategic engagement. Including strong familiarity with national partner structures, compensation models, and growth strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree or industry designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and data reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel for agency visits, partner meetings, and industry events.
