Facilities Maintenance Technician Full-Time On-Site 1st Shift Do you enjoy a role where no two days are the same-and your work keeps things running smoothly? We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and take ownership of maintaining, repairing, and improving our facility's infrastructure, equipment, and grounds. This role blends hands-on building maintenance and systems troubleshooting with light administrative responsibilities to support overall facilities and security operations. If you're a multi-skilled tradesperson with a strong work ethic and a problem-solving mindset, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do: Perform routine repairs on plumbing fixtures, valves, HVAC systems (rooftop units, Leiberts, exhaust fans), and facility infrastructure Conduct minor carpentry, drywall patching, and painting projects Inspect the building and grounds regularly to identify issues and recommend repairs Work from blueprints, work orders, or rough sketches to execute maintenance and repair tasks Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and vendors, ensuring work meets specifications Support manufacturing and process engineering teams with facility-related installations and maintenance Monitor and maintain facility systems including the Building Maintenance System (BMS), security cameras, and access control Create and manage work orders within the facility's ticketing system Assist the Director of Facilities and Security with administrative duties such as managing vendor invoices, supply orders, and purchase requisitions Provide support for remodeling and construction projects, as needed What You Bring: 3+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry) Familiarity with computers and maintenance software systems Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Comfortable working with outside vendors and contractors Flexible availability- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude Why You'll Love It Here: Work with a collaborative and dedicated facilities team Make a visible impact in a highly functional and well-maintained environment Competitive pay and full benefits Opportunity to grow and cross-train across multiple trades and facility systems After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
