Senior QA Analyst, Engineering. Southfield, MI

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate the proper implementation of user requirements in software applications.
• Create best practices regarding test strategies, test libraries, and defect management.
• Write advanced SQL scripts to extract data from various databases/systems for comparison.
• Develop programs for testing data. Develop data warehouse applications.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging/modification of software.
• Identify/document defects and participate in prioritization of defect correction.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
• Requires bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and two years of experience as a QA Analyst. Experience must include: performing data analysis using advanced SQL, executing ETL/BI test cases, testing PL/SQL procedures, gathering and modifying business requirements, developing data quality test plans, and use of PL/SQL, Oracle 10g, XML, and JIRA.

Headquarters (HQ) in Southfield, MI; telecommuting permitted.
