Business Analyst II, Engineering. Southfield, MI.

  • Gather requirements and record in a format useful for developers/test analysts.
  • Maintain application backlog clearly describing tasks; keep backlog clean.
  • Partner with developers to achieve great application performance.
  • Test new features and code to ensure they satisfy business requirements.
  • Analyze risks and potential impact to the business.
  • Apply team coding, documenting, and testing standards.
  • Recommend process improvements.
  • Recognize upstream/downstream impacts; communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Understand business processes supported by software applications.
  • Improve application and team processes.
  • Decrease incidents and increase application uptime.
  • Requires bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related field and coursework in Database Systems, Statistical Computing, Object-Oriented Programming & Design, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Regression Analysis.

Headquarters (HQ) in Southfield, MI; telecommuting permitted.
