Primary Objective: To provide data-driven insights and analytical support to the Regional Xpress Director of Sales and Xpress Sales team to drive sales growth, optimize route health, support in-store execution, increase saturation, accelerate Xpress 4-Brand presence and support strategic decision-making for the Xpress business at regional and local level. This role ensures alignment between Regional Xpress Sales, Xpress GTM Transformation, Xpress Marketing and Commercial Strategy, DSD Center of Excellence, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain through actionable sales analysis and performance monitoring.
Overview: As an Xpress Regional Sales Analyst, this role serves as the analytical backbone of the Regional Xpress Sales team, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that improve local business performance. The analyst monitors sales trends, assesses promotional effectiveness, supports forecasting, and ensures data integrity across systems. Their work directly influences commercial strategies and execution across multiple territories within a region, contributing to Bimbo Bakeries' Xpress accelerate sales growth.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Analyze and track regional and local Xpress sales performance, providing regular insights on volume, revenue, and route-level health to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Route Health Optimization: Evaluate key route metrics including efficiency, productivity, and saturation to identify improvement opportunities and support the Regional Xpress Director of Sales in driving territory growth.
  • In-Store Execution Analysis: Support in-store execution tracking by analyzing distribution, product availability, shelf presence, and promotional compliance to enhance executional excellence.
  • Saturation and Distribution Insights: Identify opportunities to increase Xpress presence at the point of sale by analyzing store-level coverage and distribution gaps. Provide insights and recommendations to improve store saturation and expand reach within existing and potential retail locations.
  • Product and Brand Penetration Insights: Analyze product availability and 4-Brand performance across Xpress territories. Identify opportunities to enhance product assortment, deepen brand presence, and drive incremental sales through improved product penetration.
  • Forecasting and Demand Planning Support: Provide data-driven inputs to regional sales forecasts, incorporating historical performance, promotional plans, and market dynamics in collaboration with Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams.
  • Promotional Effectiveness Evaluation: Assess the impact and ROI of promotional activities at a regional and store level, providing recommendations for future trade investment and activity planning.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment and Communication: Serve as a key liaison between Regional Xpress Sales and partner functions including Xpress GTM Transformation, Xpress Marketing and Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and the DSDE Center of Excellence to ensure cohesive business planning.
  • KPI Dashboard and Reporting Development: Maintain and enhance performance dashboards and scorecards to deliver clear, timely, and actionable reporting on key metrics for sales teams and leadership.
  • Data Quality and System Integrity: Ensure accuracy and integrity of sales and operational data across systems; partner with Data & Analytics, Business Technology and other Xpress business teams to resolve discrepancies and drive continuous data improvement.
  • Strategic Project Support and Ad Hoc Analysis: Deliver targeted analysis to support regional initiatives, new product rollouts, territory redesigns, and executive decision-making, contributing to Xpress goals.
  • Conducting POS material inventory analysis and forecasting to optimize regional sales investment budget planning and management

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus, especially with a focus in Data Analytics, Commercial Strategy, or Sales Operations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales Analysis, Commercial Planning, Business Intelligence, or related roles, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Retail industry.
  • Proven experience supporting field sales teams with data-driven insights, route-level analytics, or go-to-market (GTM) execution.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Strategy teams.
  • Familiarity with DSD (Direct Store Delivery) models, field execution tracking, and route productivity are highly desirable.
  • Strong background in using tools such as Power BI, Excel (advanced) and Margin Minder to build dashboards and deliver performance insights.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken; able to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to regional and corporate stakeholders.
