Layup Location(s): Stanley, VA, US, 22851 Function: Manufacturing Audience: Hourly Work Arrangement: On Site Requisition ID: 65228 Ticket Scanner Schedule-2nd Shift Monday- Thursday 3:00pm- am- 2:30am Payrate: 17.00 hourly Job Description: Recover tickets from door stacks in press, verify door count, stiles/rails accuracy, verify and scan correct quantities into MP using ticket scanner, verify tickets scanned into MP system matches counts provided by Layup Feeders. Identify defects (warp/bowed/sunken stiles) and report to pressman. If counts are off, they must identify missing ticket/incorrect feeder Talley/wrong tickets scanned/ and resolve the issue. Ticket Scanner may need to escalate issue to Layup lead if discrepancy in quantities cannot be resolved. Ticket scanner must also have sufficient layup assembly/feeder/skin flipper knowledge to temporarily take over duties for unexpected breaks. Could use small hand tools including rubber stamps, digital scales, push pins, staplers. (updates metric board with hourly production numbers for each layup line) Read/interpret tickets. Knowledge of all door skins, stiles/rails, tape measure 1/16", basic math - reconcile quantities, layup process. Master pack skills to enter counts and identify quality defects. Master pack skills, Operate scan tool, count and reconciliation skills. Read/ interpret production tickets, perform visual quality checks, and comprehend build construction specs. Little to no supervision verify correct tickets on stacks, count accuracy, and reconcile counts to MP. Escalate issues as needed. Bending, reaching, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling. Manually lift/slide/flip core materials (max. 50 lbs.) Standing for long continuous hours. Minimal - Concentration on count accuracy and quality. Effective communication skills in escalating count issues. Communicate Layup team. Mildly controlled environment - can expect some cold and heat during extreme weather conditions.
