HR Coordinator

Huntsman is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator supporting our Corporate Functions. This position is located in The Woodlands, Texas, and will report to the Americas Regional HR Manager.

Job Scope

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will support HR processes for all corporate functions and provide administrative support as needed. This may include support for the HR Business Partners at our Costa Rica and Advanced Technology sites.

In summary, as the Human Resources Coordinator, you will:

  • Responsible for employee master data in Workday for all corporate functions (which includes employees and contingent workers), checks data accuracy of the employee record and ensures data updates and corrections are submitted and approved timely using the Service Now ticketing system. Run monthly reports to audit the data and make corrections as needed. Coordinate data audits with local, regional and global HR business partners.
  • Responsible for managing HR tickets (through the Service Now ticketing system) to maintain data accuracy for all employee lifecycle actions including new hires, transfers, data changes and correction, promotions, and terminations. Work with HR shared service center to ensure tickets are completed timely and accurately for employees and contingent workers.
  • Support corporate functions and HR business partners with tracking various HR processes such as short-term disability, tuition reimbursement for the education assistance program, new hire clear-to-start status, verification of employment, and managing the exit process for departing associates (enter exit ticket, validate vacation payout, collect company property, etc.).
  • Supports local, regional and global HR business partners for corporate functions on HR business partner processes such as: merit and bonus processes, talent bank, cross-leveling for annual performance ratings, leadership training nominations, and tracking required training completion. Apply knowledge of HRBP roles and processes and assist with employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining the HR file room. Audit the personnel files for corporate functions employees to ensure compliance and highlight any areas of opportunity.
  • Provides support on expense reports for HR Director which involves frequent international travel.
  • Promotes a safe, productive and positive work environment and ethical culture in interactions with others and leads by example.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.
  • This role requires a high level of flexibility, multitasking, and the ability to shift priorities quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Support offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and guiding departing employees through final steps.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree; human resources or general business degree preferred. PHR or SPHR certification is preferred but not required.
  • Business or related field with 5+ years' related experience.
