Job Description

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting Load Controller opportunity in our Guymon processing facility. This position is a key player in the warehouse operations team who oversees and coordinates the daily warehousing activities, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure efficiency and timeliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Accurately prepares and performs all terminal functions for next-day shipping orders and truck sheet loads.
  • Communicates efficiently and effectively with the traffic, scheduling, maintenance, and senior management.
  • Perform all inventory paperwork and corrections, such as shift deletes.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform all aspects of billing, such as weight take-offs and weight shift re-bills.
  • Must adhere to all workplace and food safety protocols.
  • Any duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:



  • High School or GED.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Analytically minded and willing to learn new computer systems.
  • Forklift / Pallet jack, Lockout / Tag out, Fall Protection, and others as required by the Shipping/Material Handling Department.


Preferred:



  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office; Word and Excel and COGNOS, preferred.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to perform necessary calculations for completion of production and load paperwork.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility.
  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Primarily an office environment with some need to work in the warehouse area.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is requires hearing protection anytime the employee is working on the production floor.
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
