Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Production Manager to join our team in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations, and ensuring products are manufactured on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves managing staff, monitoring performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and safety. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control the production schedule to meet customer deadlines
- Supervise production staff and ensure effective communication across departments
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Ensure quality standards are met and implement quality control programs
- Analyze production data to identify and resolve issues or inefficiencies
- Maintain safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to streamline operations
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective production methods
- Develop and implement training for new employees and ongoing development for team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in a production or operations management role
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with production planning software and ERP systems
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight travel
