Min T/E Requirements
Master's Degree and two years of experience working with college students required. This position requires the ability to communicate with diverse audiences and build relationships with a variety of partners. The coordinator must be aware of and understand the challenges faced by the students served within the program and be able to reach the targeted student population. This position must be able to perform outreach into the medical setting as well as navigate the internal expectations of the university and students. The coordinator will have demonstrated administrative experience to include supervision of staff and fiscal responsibility.

Primary Purpose of Position
The Health Careers Access Program ( HCAP) Coordinator serves as a vital resource for students interested in pursuing health professions. The coordinator recruits students both on and off campus into various early assurance opportunities, serves as advisor for students seeking health professions, supports students applying for admission to programs, coordinates the UNCP Clinical Health Summer Programs maintaining relationships with recruiters and healthcare practitioners, serves as advisor to the Health Careers Club, and manages one administrative assistant and student assistants, among other marketing and administrative duties
Job Description

Management Preference
3 years of student advising experience. Familiarity with southeastern NC. Extensive knowledge of healthcare professions and admissions. Semifinalist will be asked to submit unofficial transcripts with official transcripts required for hire.
