Overall Summary

As Manager or Sr. Manager, Tax, you will ensure all tax (income and operational) aspects of the Company are recorded in accordance with IFRS. You will ensure that all tax aspects of the Company have internal controls over financial reporting. In addition, as Manager or Sr. Manager, Tax, you will ensure that the Company is in compliance with all federal, international, state and local tax requirements.

Your duties will include:



  1. Assist in ensuring all international income tax aspects of the Company are correctly recorded in accordance with IFRS.
  2. Ensure all VAT aspects of the US group are timely and accurately recorded in accordance with IFRS.
  3. Assist in ensuring that all tax aspects of the Company have internal controls over financial reporting that are free from significant deficiencies.
  4. Ensure that all international income tax returns are filed accurately and timely by local finance managers.
  5. Ensure all Canada tax filings are filed accurately and timely.
  6. Support research and development tax credit study to support the yearly R&D tax credit on the US tax return.
  7. Ensure all Forms 1099, Forms 1042, and Forms 1042-S are filed accurately and timely.
  8. Ensure all sales/use tax returns are filed accurately and timely.
  9. Ensure transfer pricing studies are prepared to document intercompany transactions in accordance with US and foreign country transfer pricing rules and regulations.
  10. Ensure all annual business licenses tax returns, privilege tax returns and annual reports are filed timely and accurately.
  11. Ensure all property tax returns are timely and accurately filed.
  12. Ensure all tax entries are recorded under IFRS are timely and accurately recorded.

About You

  • Timely recognition and correction of errors and ensuring control and security of company information is essential.
  • Business acumen to make the correct decision and requires a high degree of independent thinking and discretionary judgment with respect to matters of business significance.



Licensure, Registration and/or Certification

CPA preferred

YOUR EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Master's Degree

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Manager: Minimum 5 years of tax provision experience

Sr. Manager: Minimum 7 years of tax provision experience

International tax experience required
