Qualifications

Position Summary:

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for cultivating Military, VA, Veteran and Non-Military referral relationships and generate facility referrals while minimizing competitive threats and customer dissatisfaction.

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for implementing the facility's strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility's brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals. The Regional Account Manager must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are based on departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening and weekend hours, as directed by the Director of Business Development.

Education and/ or experience: Minimum of Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Services, Marketing/Public Relations/ Counseling or related field with 3+ years of healthcare marketing/sales experience in related field. Psychiatric health care marketing experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generating calls into the facility for all program service lines thorough the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods.
  • Develops and maintains an updated profile of assigned accounts with current activity.
  • Makes minimum number of face to face contacts daily as defined by Director of Business Development.
  • Accurately qualifies accounts as A, B, or C for business potential
  • Develops a strategic plan on a quarterly basis to implement within assigned territory.
  • Contacts customers currently utilizing services at least quarterly to inquire about satisfaction with services and need for additional services.
  • Utilizes industry, competitor and census data/information to identify markets and customers within territory to develop business.
  • Exhibit at local conferences/trade shows to promote service lines and execute customer contacts.
  • Able to travel weekly and when necessary execute trips that may require 2 to 3 nights away from home

Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required.
