Job Description

You will be responsible for the maintenance and compliance of the Rockwell Automation Environmental, Safety and Health programs, as well as facilities support. You will provide timely, effective safety, process safety, and environmental solutions that meet Rockwell corporate standard and regulatory needs. You will implement processes that establish compliance with required regulations. You will establish & deploy tools and processes that enable the consistent application of Rockwell EHS global policies, programs, and systems. You will report to the Facilities Manager and work onsite in Chelmsford, MA.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Complete/update Electrical Test Assessments for all test station/equipment
  • Verify inventory of all test stations and test equipment
  • Develop written electrical safe work practices for electrical test areas
  • Monitors hazardous waste storage, removal vendors and may assist in consolidating hazardous wastes
  • Coordinates chemical requisition process; maintains a chemical inventory
  • Oversees contractor safety management including conducting pre-job risk assessment
  • Performs periodic safety inspections individually and with support of lab captains
  • Recommends corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist
  • Maintains a system for reporting, monitoring and correcting safety hazards
  • Makes periodic or special inspections of the facility to determine repair work necessary
  • perform facilities support duties such as light furniture moving, simple maintenance projects, spot painting or cleaning.
  • Coordinates with outside contractors on facilities and equipment repairs
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelors degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 2+ years of environmental, health, safety and facilities work experience
  • Experience working in an engineering work site; Experience with electrical related safety
  • Professional EHS certification
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a collaborative mindset
  • Effective liaison and influencer of site-level customers, while coaching all levels of the organization to ensure effective EHS performance

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $ 71,920 - $107,880 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
