As part of a hardworking team, interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units. GNC Projectsmay include different aspects of guidance, navigation, controls, autonomy, avionics, simulation, system test, aero sciences, and systems engineering. During your internship experience, you can expect to: Gain hands on, real-world experience. Gain mentorship and feedback from mentors and managers. Participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization. Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester of school remaining after the internship. Students who have acquired a junior or higher academic standing at the time of application. Available to work full time while not concurrently enrolled in coursework. Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with MATLAB or SIMULINK. Passion for space. Desired: We love to see the following experience and skills! Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities. Hands-on project experience. Experience with avionics software Experience with C/C++.
