JOB TITLE: Medical Technologist 3DWE - Chemistry/Clinical Lab

DEPT: Laboratory

LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN

SHIFT: 3 Day Weekend Plan. Friday - Sunday, 6:30pm - 7am

JOB SUMMARY:

Functions with minimal supervisor to perform laboratory testing in assigned sections. Is capable of recognizing and solving problems, verifying abnormal results and correlating data with patients condition. Performs the majority of calibrations and helps monitor monthly QC.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Licensure as a Medical Technologist by Tennessee Medical Laboratory Board OR National Certification as Medical Technologist by ASCP, AMT, AAB Required

* Bachelor's Degree from a NAACLS Laboratory Science Program OR Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science Plus Completion of a NAACLS Laboratory Science Program Required

* 1 Year of Related Experience Preferred
