Responsibilities
Overview: As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer, you will apply a multidisciplinary approach to systems engineering tasks across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and various Federal Agencies. Your work will ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and reliable GEOINT capabilities by addressing requirements engineering, solution design, system integration, testing, maintainability, and analysis. Key Responsibilities:
Perform requirements engineering, solution design, scheduling, reliability, resiliency analysis, integration, testing, and evaluation across NSG, ASG, and federal systems.
Analyze and trace user needs and system architectures, and identify opportunities to enhance or automate existing systems. Assess and review cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints. Translate mission and customer needs into system and capability requirements. Support system architecture development and allocation of requirements across components and programs. Conduct system integration and support end-to-end technical efforts. Assist in conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), trade studies, and engineering evaluations. Contribute to strategic technical planning, project management, risk assessment, and interface design activities.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or a related STEM field, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
- 6+ years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
- 6+ years of experience working systems engineering in government or industry.
- Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
- Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
- Experience in integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools (HSI).
- Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and successfully pass a polygraph.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
