San Joaquin Delta College is seeking a dedicated Instructional Schedule Technician to play a vital role in supporting academic scheduling and maintaining the integrity of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data systems. In this key position, you will assist TrACs (Teaching and Learning Centers) in coding their instructional schedules while serving as an ERP data integrity specialist. You'll be responsible for a range of technical functions within the Instruction Office including the development, monitoring, and maintenance of faculty loads and class schedules. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of critical data across the ERP and related systems through regular audits, validations, and collaborative support. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives direction from the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management. Incumbents work within a framework of established goals and objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Monitor faculty assignments for adherence to District policies and procedures and class assignment limitations;
- Updates faculty position control and reassigned time reports, verifies data and resolves discrepancies;
- Assists with the accurate and timely completion and submission of documents and reports to the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office (CCCCO), Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), and U.S. Department of Education; ensures adequate documentation;
- Assists with the timely submission and accuracy of the District's attendance apportionment reports to the Chancellor's office;
- Assists the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management with special projects related to strategic enrollment management, enrollment forecasting, and scheduling targets;
- Conducts regular data audits in the ERP to identify and correct errors;
- Develops and implements data validation rules to prevent errors from being entered into the system and ensures sufficient accountability;
- Trains ERP users on data entry and editing procedures;
- Monitors ERP usage to identify potential data integrity issues;
- Investigates and resolves ERP data integrity incidents.
- Maintains master Instructional facilities schedule and facilities inventory;
- Compiles and verifies statistical data for enrollment and financial reporting;
- Assists instructional TrACs in the scheduling of classes;
- Assists in the compilation of information for federal, state, district and audit reports;
- Responds to requests for scheduling related information;
- Communicates with students, faculty, and other individuals to disseminate or explain information;
- Assists in preparing and proofing material for published schedule of classes;
- Prepares routine correspondence and monthly reports;
- Orders office supplies and materials;
- Serves as lead to the IT Department to test scheduling and curriculum functions in scheduled ERP upgrades and new software implementations.
- Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

Knowledge of:
- State and federal laws, regulations, and procedures, as well as District policies and procedures, related to curriculum, scheduling, and enrollment data, current through self-study and communication. Effective customer service skills;
- The structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar, and rules for letter and report writing;
- Principles and practices of effective communication;
- How to train others to perform specific tasks;
- Modern office practices, procedures and equipment;
- Administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as filing, basic accounting, and recordkeeping techniques, and other office procedures and terminology related to the position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Two years of college level business, office technology, or related course work from an accredited institution. High school diploma or the equivalent with college level course work in business administration or a related field.
Experience: Two (2) years of related experience
