As a Mobility Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing and securing a large-scale enterprise mobility environment. Your work will ensure that mobile devices and applications are seamlessly integrated, secure, and aligned with mission-critical operations. You'll collaborate closely with teams across the organization to support and enhance mobile strategies that enable secure, efficient, and connected workforces. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Intune, Blackberry UEM, iOS, Android, and Microsoft Teams.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

    Lead the administration, configuration, deployment and optimization of mobile device management (MDM) platforms including Microsoft Intune and BlackBerry UEM.
  • Oversee the secure enrollment and management of iOS, Android, and Windows devices across the enterprise.
  • Enforce robust mobile security policies - including app deployment, device encryption, remote wipe capabilities, and access control.
  • Deploy and manage enterprise mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
  • Collaborate with application and security teams to ensure mobile apps meet compliance and security standards.
  • Support end users with expert-level guidance on device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security frameworks through continuous monitoring, reporting, and enforcement.
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to enhance mobile device management strategies.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in mobile device management and security to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Work with the collaboration tools team to troubleshoot and support Microsoft Teams on mobile devices, addressing issues related to connectivity, performance, and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mobile device management issues and escalations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation related to mobile device management policies, procedures, configurations, and issues.
  • Ensure that mobile applications are properly secured, compliant with organizational policies, and regularly updated.
  • Provide regular reports on mobile device fleet status, security compliance, and troubleshooting resolutions.
  • Assist with on-boarding of new devices and provide guidance to users on mobile configurations.
  • Provide training and support to end users regarding mobile device usage, security best practices, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and 8 years' experience or Associate degree and 10 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 12 years' experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
  • Hands-on experience managing, configuration and securing iOS, Android, and Windows devices in enterprise environments.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Intune, BlackBerry UEM, and mobile security best practices.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Teams mobile client deployment and optimization.
  • Proven expertise in administering and optimizing Microsoft Teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams or projects.
  • Strong understanding of MDM/EMM technologies and mobile device ecosystems (iOS, Android).
  • Expertise in mobile security, conditional access, and compliance policy management.
  • Experience with automation and scripting, such as PowerShell, to streamline device management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Microsoft Intune (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) or Blackberry UEM.
  • Experience integrating MDM solutions for device lifecycle management (enrollment, updates, decommissioning).
  • Familiarity with mobile security standards related to GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS as it relates to mobile security.
  • Experience developing mobile device automation scripts in PowerShell or Python.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
