Position Summary:
Employees at this level manage work with minimal supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and to have the ability to work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues. They are fully competent in use of concepts and procedures. They identify problems, develop solutions and take actions to resolve. The Sr Product Analyst provides and leads analytical support to Product Owners or Product Managers engaged in the discovery, design and delivery of products.
Responsibilities:
Assist product owner with user research and story writing Knowledge of and ability to perform any of the following key activities within a product team: process mapping, value stream mapping, process analysis, process design, methods development, performance standards & metrics development, ROI analysis Develop and execute quality assurance plans Support change management functions to ensure successful product implementation Collaborate with product team to understand opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives and potential areas to gain efficiencies or cost savings Utilize data to help teams develop and implement solutions
Required/Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree In addition to required degree, five (5) or more years related work experience In lieu of Bachelor's degree(s) AND five (5) or more years related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND nine (9) or more years related work experience

Working Conditions
Hybrid - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the designated Duke Energy facility. Office environment mostly, occasional research or analysis conducted in plants or field
Specific Requirements
Bachelor degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Management or similar discipline and 5+ years' work experience in applicable or related business area. "Green Belt" Six sigma certification or equivalent experience
