WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Position Overview:
Waukesha County's Department of Administration - Business Services Division is seeking a talented Fiscal Specialist to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. This role involves preparing, developing, analyzing, and maintaining a variety of complex financial documents, records, and reports, along with assisting in various financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Accounts Payable invoices
  • Manage internal and external customer invoices and billing
  • Participating as a team member on special projects related to financial operations
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to various stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient with technology and financial systems (experience with Workday is a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow

Additional Information:

  • The final candidate must successfully pass work, education, and certification reference checks, as well as a criminal background and driver's license check prior to hire.
  • This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Three years of post high school work experience in finance or accounting.
3. Post high school education from a recognized college or university in accounting, finance, business, or a closely related field may be substituted for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
