Position Summary: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to standardize and error-proof work operations, enhance process efficiency, and drive improvements in various capacities. You will play a pivotal role in managing process changes, supporting associate training, and leading improvement projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for equipment validations, trial coordination, and the design and programming of automated systems. Your expertise will also contribute to reducing waste and scrap, while maximizing throughput. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Leads and provides technical guidance to ensure process designs adhere to sanitary standards while meeting customer and business requirements.
- Implements data-supported, proven methodologies to optimize product and process development.
- Utilizes standard engineering principles, concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure effective design solutions.
- Oversees the fabrication, operation, installation, and repair of equipment and processes.
- Identifies and leverages opportunities to enhance process efficiency, promote continuous improvement, support associate development, and achieve cost savings.
- Apply reverse engineering techniques to analyze and improve machine components.
- Support equipment validations and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate trial work and facilitate the implementation of process improvements.
- Update work instructions, keeping them current and effective.

Qualification Requirements: We are hiring for either a Manufacturing Engineer II or Manufacturing Engineer III. Please see the requirements for both positions below. Manufacturing Engineer II
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specific focus in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering and 3 years of direct process ownership/support experience required.
- In Lieu of Bachelor's degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience with automated packaging equipment and sanitary processing, preferred (i.e.: food, liquids, cosmetic, or medical.)
- Experience in machine installs, checkouts, and acceptance testing.
- Demonstrated process improvement/process knowledge applied to drive process efficiency and cost savings.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of statistical based data to identify and also definitively prove benefit for current and future state.
- Experience in implementing lean practices; preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting multiple objectives, team building skills, and excellent communication skills, required.
Manufacturing Engineer III
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specific focus in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering and 7 years of direct process ownership/support experience required.
- In Lieu of Bachelor's degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience with automated packaging equipment and sanitary processing, preferred (i.e.: food, liquids, cosmetic, or medical.)
- Experience in machine installs, checkouts, and acceptance testing.
- Demonstrated process improvement/process knowledge applied to drive process efficiency and cost savings.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of statistical based data to identify and also definitively prove benefit for current and future state.
- Experience in implementing lean practices; required.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting multiple objectives, team building skills, and excellent communication skills, required.
Desirable Training and Skills: In addition to the qualifications above, the following skills and training will be beneficial:
- Lean Manufacturing Training (Certificate Program).
- Basic understanding of Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Programming skills in Visual Basic, C++, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Rockwell/Allen Bradley, or Human Machine Interface (HMI).
