The Engineering Test Technician - 2nd Shift is responsible for performing structural, hydraulic, vibration, and noise validation on component and Skidsteer and Compact Track Loader machines. Testing will be performed in lab and in field applications to support the overall development and enhancement of new and existing construction products.

Shift is Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm



Responsibilities

    Work from drawings, engineering specifications, sketches, verbal instructions, and other data, to build, maintain, or rework a wide variety of prototype components, lab fixtures, and test vehicles. Work closely with Design, Product Evaluation, and Shop Supervision in the development and construction of component parts and equipment. Maintain required quality specifications.
  • Performs engineering test validations to determine the performance, reliability, and durability of components and vehicle systems.
  • Installation of test instrumentation for structural, hydraulic, vibration, and noise tests on Skidsteer and Compact Track Loader machines.
  • Fabricate, set-up, and disassemble test equipment and instrumentation

Starting Hourly Rate: $31.00, plus extraordinary benefits!



Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Experience with data acquisition and instrumentation
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge
  • Communication skills to provide simple and detailed summaries
  • Computer application literacy
