Parking Lot Attendant

Primary Purpose of Job

Monitors the American Savings Bank (ASB) parking lot and coordinates the parking of vehicles. Reports issues and hazards to the Facilities Management and Corporate Security teams. Responsible for the overall cleanliness and presentation of American Savings Bank (ASB) parking lots and any exterior grounds.

Major Job Accountabilities

• Controls the flow of traffic into and out of the ASB parking lots.
• Coordinates the parking of vehicles and directs customers to available parking stalls.
• Notifies the department management team of issues pertaining to property, including but not limited to:
  • Illegally parked vehicles - may issue warnings to vehicle operator
  • Potential hazards
  • Accidents/Incidents

• Greets customers and directs them to the building entrance.
• Cleans the front entrance, around the sides on the building, and parking area.
• Removes trash from landscaping area surrounding the building.
• Assists with escorting service providers within the building.
• Supports a wide variety of functions and performs miscellaneous housekeeping duties and projects as directed.
• May occasionally work long hours including nights/weekends, depending upon assigned shift and location.

Experience Required

• Minimum one (1) year of Customer service or related experience.

Required Skills or Training

• Ability to multitask/manage multiple responsibilities.
• Able to work cooperatively with customers, management, and teammates.
• Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate with internal and external customers and file incident reports.
• Must work under minimal supervision with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
