MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Possess a valid driver's license with good driving history

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Ability to obtain D.O.T medical card, for vehicles 10,001lbs and up if applicable

CORE DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. They are not intended to be construed as an all-inclusive list of all responsibilities and duties. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Provides timely pickup and delivery of all packages - includes but not limited to mail, lab specimens, medical supplies, forms, equipment, clean/soiled linen and medical/non-medical records.

2.Collaborates with supply chain staff to obtain the correct supplies and paperwork to ensure supply orders are delivered organized and complete.

3. Adheres to delivery schedule and reports back to the hospital once deliveries are complete.

4.Performs a routine cleaning of vehicles.

5.Coordinates with supervisor to monitor assigned vehicles for needed maintenance and repairs and shuttles such vehicles to repair facility designated by the supervisor.

6. On an as-needed basis, performs other duties within Supply Chain to ensure the continuity of materials supplies throughout the hospital

7.Ensures that anyone not employed by the WVU Medicine does not have access to nor is allowed in company vehicles during any delivery or in the presence of any medical supplies that have not been delivered.

1. Ability to stand and walk short distances for eight or more hours.

2. Frequent bending, stooping or stretching.

3. Ability to routinely lift and carry (50) pounds and be able to push 80 pounds.

4. Normal vision and hearing range.

5. Requires working under stressful conditions.

6. Adhere to WVUHS Driver safety and safety policies.

7. Ability to withstand and prioritize rapid pace of events.

1. Hospital Truck, Supply Stockroom, Loading Dock, and Medical Offices, inclement weather throughout the year

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Must be dependable and detail oriented

2. Must demonstrate good communication skills.

3. Driver's license, good driving record and ability to operate large trucks.

4. Ability to work independently of direct supervision

5. Ability to operate pallet jacks
