University Physicians Job Description
#upjobs Monitor revenue departments' adherence to charge reconciliation processes and metrics measured by key performance indicators. Review changes in CPT, HCPCS, and revenue codes for accuracy, compliance with applicable billing guidelines, and optimization of reimbursement. Perform revenue integrity reviews and present findings for corrective action - these are reviews of a specific topic with a focus on documentation and coding requirements. Serve as a resource for organizational and operational matters related to revenue integrity issues. Monitor, investigate, and resolve revenue integrity concerns and opportunities reported in their area and provide any necessary follow-up. Develop tools to track and identify potential areas of lost revenue. Plan and conduct regular meetings with assigned Divisions to review key performance indicators and discuss potential revenue leakage and performance improvement opportunities. Shift
Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of CPT-HCPCS, third party reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle process. Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient billing requirements, coding guidelines and CMS Medicare reimbursement methodology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interpret, communicate and educate others. Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills. Ability to respond to complex inquiries in a professional and efficient manner. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $59,321.60 - $96,761.60 annually Application Materials
