Overview

VTG is seeking a Mid-Level Program Analyst to provide program support to the Battery Energy Safety and Transition (BEST) program within the Marine Engineering Directorate (SEA 05Z) at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC. This position requires working closely with the BEST program manager and their team to assist in executing all aspects of program management. This position also requires working with entities outside of NAVSEA headquarters such as the Naval Warfare Centers (NWC's) to accomplish program objectives. This is a hybrid role.


What will you do?

  • Provide support to Program Manager and Team Lead on all aspects of program management to include the development of documentation such as summary and point papers, schedules and analyses.
  • Provide written and verbal analysis of program metrics and other data.
  • Support weekly program meetings as required and provide written notes/meeting minutes to Program Manager.
  • Working in conjunction with the BEST contractor Business Financial Manager review Task planning Sheets (TPS) statement-of-work (SOW) in preparation of mid-year reviews and future year resource allocations.
  • Review and provide summary of Monthly Status Reports(MSR) received from Warfare Centers (WFC) to include highlights, planned vs actuals analysis, issues and risks.
  • Mange BEST folders on TEAMS to ensure proper location of information, titling of information and removal; of any redundant or outdated information.
  • Create PowerPoint briefs and Excel spreadsheets as required by Program Manager and Team Lead is support of program execution.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Five years of program analyst experience, preferably with Government experience.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Must have and maintain an active SECRET clearance.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel background.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $80,000-$110,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
