A Brief Overview
Participates in a planned research project by performing research protocols. Works independently and self-directed; is required to consistently exercise discretion and good judgment in execution, interpretation of experiments, and of data derived.

What you will do

  • Proficient in the use of a wide variety of lab techniques, research equipment & research software
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of laboratory equipment
  • Performs experiments which require analysis of results & interpretation of data or scientific methods
  • Assists with planning specific research protocols & procedures
  • Assist in development & troubleshooting of new techniques
  • Assist in preparation of materials to submit for IRB approval
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and professional research papers

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • Several internships or paid experiences in research laboratories - Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in an organized fashion, work well with others
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications desirable

SALARY RANGE:

$1.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
