Position Summary: The Learning Specialist II will be responsible for delivering engaging learning experiences and designing targeted interventions. The role works closely with managers or team leads to coordinate training efforts, facilitate workshops, and improve instructional materials. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping learners achieve success through learning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitation (50%)
Deliver high-impact training programs (virtual and/or in-person) to team members across various levels. Adapt facilitation style to audience needs, incorporating interactive learning methods and real-world application. Partner with internal stakeholders to schedule, promote, and execute training events. Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback to learners and relevant stakeholders Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of programs and making recommendations for improvements. Provide guidance and support to participants, addressing questions and concerns related to training content and materials. Help coordinate training logistics, such as scheduling, room setup, equipment, and materials, to ensure a seamless learning experience.
Program Management & Instructional Design (50%)
Amend instructional materials using adult learning principles, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and assessments. Originate, design, and create Triumph University training-related documents, materials, and presentations, as needed. Apply instructional design models (ADDIE) and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business leaders to translate complex topics into engaging learning experiences. Assess learner needs through observations, consultations, and analysis to determine areas of improvement. Stay abreast of emerging research, tools, and practices in education, facilitation and instructional design. Support other team members in the development and implementation of instructional materials and tools aligned with learning goals.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Learning, Education, Business or a related field preferred. Experience may be considered in place of education.
- Learning Specialist I: 0-2 years of experience in teaching, coaching, communication, or a related field preferred.
- Learning Specialist II: 2-5 years of experience in teaching, coaching, instructional design, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with curriculum development and learning technologies preferred.
- Factoring, call center, retail, or another high-touch customer-facing industry experience is preferred.
- Certification in instructional design or facilitation (CPLP, ATD, Langevin) preferred.
- Familiarity with microlearning and blended learning approaches preferred.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
