We are working with a technical training institute in locating an experienced Instructional Designer to develop full ILT course content for seven (7) courses in its Automotive Service Support Management Program. Each course will consist of 72 hours of instructional time, divided into 15 modules, and will require full content development based on high-level outlines. Courses to be Developed Shop Operations Customer Relations Internal Relations Sales Skills Inventory Management Fleet Management Automobile Finance and Leasing Deliverables for Each Course Slide Decks (15 modules/course) Interactive Lessons (delivered via Canva) Homework Assignments Lesson Quizzes Midterm Exam Final Exam Capstone Course Project Required Skills & Experience Top 3 Qualifications: Automotive industry experience or familiarity with technical service/support roles Extensive background in instructional design and adult learning Ability to develop custom ILT content from limited source material Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently with minimal content Strong project management and communication skills Skilled at synthesizing SME input and/or conducting topic-specific research Tools & Working Requirements Canva will be used to build and host course content (consultant must have access/license) Consultant must provide their own laptop and necessary software Use of AI tools is TBD based on project requirements and client policies Ideal Consultant Profile Collaborative and communicative Self-starter who meets deadlines and takes ownership Comfortable creating structure and clarity where minimal resources exist Tools Required: Canva, PowerPoint, PDF tools; consultant must provide their own laptop Project Start Date: July 2025 Duration: TBD Location: Virtual Hours: 40 hours per week Clarity Consultants is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
