The Rehabilitation Technician, under close supervision, assists with patient care activities as directed by rehab personnel. Working under direct supervision, this position assists the preparation of treatment areas, equipment, and materials for rehabilitation sessions. |

Aids patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed, reporting any changes in patient performance. Helps prepare and maintain adequate inventory of therapy supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for rehabilitation sessions. Monitors and records patients' responses and progress during rehabilitation sessions so that required changes can be made to treatment plans. Cleans, maintains, organizes equipment and space, and performs clerical and other tech duties as outlined by department. Helps communicate with patients/families using appropriate language, tone and demeanor while considering patient's age, culture, and needs. Performs other duties as assigned. |
EDUCATION: |
Required: High school diploma or equivalent |
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
Required: BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider |
