The office invests in research initiatives, promotes our research among sponsors, and provides services that ensure that USC achieves the highest ethical standards in its research. The Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) attends specifically to human research at USC and provides direct oversight to the Institutional Review Board (IRB). The HRPP is seeking candidates to fill a Senior IRB Analyst opening in the HRPP that will be primarily focused on Reliance or Single IRB applications. Reporting to a Lead IRB Analyst, the Senior IRB Analyst position is a full-time, professional staff member who plays an integral role in the day-to-day functions for the Office.This includes, but is not limited to the following: Job Accountabilities:

Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $82,670.83-$84,000. When determining an offer, the University of Southern California considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education, training, key skills, internal peer alignment, applicable laws, contractual requirements, grant funding, and market conditions. #LI-AW1 Required Education: - Bachelor's degree - Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Required Experience: - 3 years Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Three years of IRB experience conducting reviews of varying complexity of risk. - Demonstrable knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, laws, policies, and ethical practices governing the research of human subjects. - Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate, and report on information. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Proven project management skills. - Excellent organization, planning, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive material with discretion.
