Scope:

• The Strain Relief Operator is responsible for placing epoxy where the printed circuit boards (PCBs) meet to strengthen necessary areas.
  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment used to apply epoxy
• Determine which applicators are needed to apply epoxy clean and correctly
• Work with small parts, sometimes very intricate, under halo light rings
• Use computer to view work instructions
• Read and interpret shop traveler to verify that all previous operations were completed, Verify count and verify quality of product as it enters and exits the department
• Identify and segregate non-conforming product
• Follow all departmental process procedures correctly
• Complete all departmental documentation accurately
• Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to stand for the duration of shift
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures
• Basic math, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills
• Must possess interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Follow all safety measures

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous PCB experience preferred

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
